TERMS & CONDITIONS – TUTORING SERVICES

These Terms & Conditions apply to tutoring services provided by the AAT Tutor / Tutoring  (“Tutor”, “we”, “our”) to Parents, Caregivers, or Legal Guardians (“Client”) on behalf of the enrolled student (“Student”).

By booking and paying for sessions, the Client agrees to the following:

1. Nature of Services

We provide professional, personalised tutoring designed to support school-aged students with learning gaps in:

Sessions are primarily one-on-one, though in some cases a small shared session may occur with a student who has similar learning needs.

2. Session Structure

Tutoring focuses on targeted support but does not replace formal schooling.

3. Fees & Payment

Sessions are not confirmed until payment is received.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

5. Technology Requirements (Online Sessions)

For online lessons, the Client is responsible for:

7. Homework & Practice

Students may receive practice work between sessions. Completion of this work supports progress. Lack of completion may affect outcomes and is not the Tutor’s responsibility.

8. Tutor Responsibilities

As the business grows, additional tutors may deliver services. All tutors will be suitably qualified, experienced, and compliant with requirements for working with school-aged students.

9. Confidentiality

All personal information relating to Students, Parents/Guardians, and Tutors is confidential.

Progress notes and feedback are for family use and are not intended to directly influence school assessments unless separately arranged.

10. Non-Circumvention (No Private Arrangements)

Clients agree not to bypass this tutoring service to arrange private payments or lessons directly with any tutor introduced through this service. Doing so may result in service termination and fees.

11. Independent Contractor Status

Tutors engaged by this service operate as independent contractors, not employees. Each tutor is responsible for their own legal and tax obligations.

12. Termination of Services

Tutoring arrangements are considered binding once sessions are booked and paid for. Future sessions may be discontinued by either party, but cancellation terms still apply to booked sessions.

13. Limitation of Liability

While we provide professional educational support, we do not guarantee specific academic results, grades, or school outcomes.

14. Acceptance of Terms

Booking and payment of sessions confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
